Join me in bringing a fresh start to City Hall

With each New Year comes great anticipation and excitement.

2014 brings something more for the citizens of Toronto – the opportunity to elect their representatives at City Hall and choose a direction for their city.

I’m humbled to announce that on January 2, 2014, I registered as a candidate to represent Ward 12 York South-Weston as City Councillor.

Over the years, our paths have crossed in different ways; perhaps through my work at For Youth Initiative (FYI) or as Chair of the Premier’s Council on Youth Opportunities. Or, perhaps you’re also a resident of York South-Weston and we’ve bumped into each other at the local bakery.

Whatever our connection, I am certain that you know the following things about me:

  • I am passionate about helping youth, seniors and parents achieve their dreams.
  • I am focused on supporting long-time Canadians and newcomers in their pursuit of security and fulfillment.
  • I am dedicated to championing the local businesses and community services that make York South-Weston a great place to live.

The road to winning the election will be long and challenging, but one that I am energized and grateful to travel.

I’m going to start this work in the right place by listening to the residents of the Ward 12 and learning more about their concerns and aspirations.

As a supporter, I’ll need your help in this campaign starting today. Please do the following three things for me right away:
